Business Operations Manager

This job has the goal of providing direct exposure to industrial gas business line in a surrounding that is pretty rugged and industrial and the role will invovle development of processes and systems that will help streamline operations digitally. To that end, this role will provide hands-on training and experience in the business line, expose the candidate to various skills in the business line and related areas, and prepare skills in participants for their future career. Typical responsibilities include, providing services to the day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area, manage billing, managing material stocks, managing online marketing and handling sales inquiries telephonically of the assigned area, managing and planning gas inventory, conducting research and reporting including recommendations or proposals for action. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate or management program. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assists and actively participates in various day-day initiatives Effectively communicates with team members, customers, partners, and management. Responsible for definition, planning and delivery of programs that require cross-functional collaboration and management of interdependencies between a group of projects and/or related activities within the constraint of scope, quality, time, and budget. Assists in building systems and processes to improve, plan, organize, and control the day-to-day operations, including inventory management, credits, optimal resource utilization, staffing, etc. Collaborate on initiatives involving areas such a Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Demand & Capacity, etc. Well-versed with MS-Excel and other computer applications Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
