About the Company:

Vicom has been in the security business for the last thirty years. With a track record of keeping the critical installations of businesses like banking, factories, heavy industries etc. for reputed organizations like IOCL, NTPC, BHEL, RBI, Kolkata & Chennai Airport, State Bank of India, etc it has now decided to bring its expertise to bear in the rapidly growing home security market. It has recently launched three models of Wireless, Wi-Fi battery powered cameras via a licensing arrangement with Noorio (an award-winning innovative brand that has already gained significant traction in the USA).

Role Objective:

The role will be responsible for planning and executing the demand generation and demand fulfilment strategies for brand Noorio. Working closely with the promoters and an external advisor, the incumbent will be expected to formulate a business plan, prepare a sales and expenses budget and execute the same through a team of employees and external agency partners.

The incumbent will also be expected to play an active role in planning the business’s growth and the organization to support the same over a three year period.

Responsibilities:

· Category Management – assess the competitive strengths and weaknesses of the Noorio products versus available alternatives and identify who to sell to and how

· Sales Development – assess alternative sales channels online and offline, build channel propositions taking into account product profitability and channel expectations

· Brand Development – develop marketing strategies that not only help achieve sales in the immediate term but bring down the cost of customer acquisition over time

· Lead Execution – build a lean, effective team (internal and external) to drive execution across channels

Our Ideal Candidate:

Ambitious sales and marketing professional exposed to the consumer electronics sector, excited by the opportunity to handle a full P&L role; some-one who has a bias for action and an appetite for experimentation; some-one who is equally comfortable presenting his own ideas and building on others’.

Experience Sought:

· Exposure to category management in a electronics organization or in an electronics retailing organization

· Familiar with the tools of digital marketing and experience in executing digital-first marketing campaigns

· Exposure to selling via online market-places and / or modern trade

Competencies:

· Excellent numeracy skills

· Ability to plan and take accountability for execution

· Above average communication skills

· Proven ability in working as part of cross-functional teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,385.59 - ₹50,983.60 per month
