AMYLO is a bioplastics company dedicated to the development and commercialization of sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions. Our research and development have been supported by prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Sciences startup division, Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development, the CSR grant, and the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme. Additionally, we have received a NIDHI Prayas grant through the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms. Our flagship product is a home compostable blown film suitable for various applications including carry bags, mailer bags, industrial packaging, and food packaging. Through pilot scale trials, we have successfully achieved mechanical, barrier, and biodegradation properties that align with current market demands at a competitive price point. Our R&D team comprises individuals with extensive credentials, including post-doctoral industrial projects from Tsinghua-Taiwan, doctoral research on bioplastics from the University of Guelph, and post-masters fellowship from TU Dresden. The founder, Amritha, brings more than 20 years of experience, having held leadership roles in successful startups across South East Asia and India. Our manufacturing partner boasts over a decade of experience in managing world-class facilities at Paragon and Water Science. We are currently seeking a pre/post-MBA intern for the period of June to July 2025. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the founders on the execution of a product launch within this rapidly evolving industry, offering valuable learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Preparing collateral, including financial projections for lenders/investors - Developing pricing strategies based on comparative market studies - Coordinating with vendors to create sales and marketing materials - Conducting research to build and manage the sales pipeline The position is based in North Bengaluru and includes a stipend. Candidates from, or with admissions to, renowned institutions such as IIM, ISB, FMS, SPJIMR, XLRI, IIFT, JBIMS, TISS, NMIMS, and SCMHRD are preferred for this role.
