Business Intelligence Lead

As an experienced candidate with 8-12 years of experience, your primary role will involve understanding customer requirements, problem statements, and business use cases. You will be responsible for documenting customer requirements and designing ETL jobs, query objects, data marts, reports, and dashboards. It is crucial to document technical designs and translate business requirements into design. Your responsibilities will also include developing and testing ETL jobs, query objects, data marts, reports, and dashboards. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of the customer's business domain and existing database schema. Key Responsibilities: - Design OLAP cubes, SQL reports, interactive charts, stored procedures, functions, packages, scripts, and complex SQLs - Review existing report design, database schema, SQL code, and provide recommendations to enhance performance and operational aspects - Work closely with customers for solution fine-tuning and troubleshooting production issues - Efficiently monitor tasks and report status to senior management, customers, and stakeholders - Demonstrate excellent problem analysis and resolution skills, including debugging at the OS, database, or network level if required - Understanding of cloud deployment architecture and Big Data platforms would be considered an added advantage Qualifications: - Proficient in Database technologies like Oracle, MS SQL Server, T-SQL, MySQL, Postgre SQL - Competent in writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL - Experience in scripting languages like Java, Python, or R - Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and Mac - Skilled in developing reports, dashboards, and analytics using reporting and BI tools such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects, SSRS, MSAS, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, PowerBI, or SpotFire - Hands-on experience in creating ETL jobs using platforms like Informatica or SSIS - Proficiency in data modeling, schema design, and data mart/warehouse design - Ability to design and implement OLAP Cubes for slicing and dicing - Experience in creating interactive BI dashboards, reports, and KPI analytics - Knowledge of designing and implementing Data Science (AI, ML) use cases using Python or R - Proficiency in complete SDLC, project management concepts, and Agile delivery methodology - Excellent communication skills and listening ability (Note: No additional details about the company were mentioned in the job description.),
