Business Intelligence Engineer

Role Overview: As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the gathering, analysis, and design of requirements. You will extract necessary report data from various sources and manage reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate business data and insights. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights critical for strategic business decision-making. Collaboration with stakeholders in business requirements gathering sessions to understand their needs and specifications for reporting and analysis will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain BI tools and platforms, including managing user access, implementing security protocols, and optimizing performance. - Create impactful visualizations that transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for business users. - Interpret data analysis findings and present them to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. - Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to empower business users in effectively utilizing BI tools and reports for self-service analytics. - Monitor the performance of enterprise and client reports, optimizing queries and processes to enhance efficiency and operational performance. - Maintain documentation such as business requirements documents, data dictionaries, data catalogs, and data mapping documents. - Perform additional tasks and duties as reasonably required or instructed by the manager or supervisor based on team and business needs, including administrative duties, project support, backup development roles, and other ad-hoc tasks. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing BI solutions using Power BI. - At least 3 years of experience in data warehousing and data modeling, including normalization and denormalization. - Extensive experience performing ETL to extract data from various sources using SSIS, Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric. - Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and strong technical knowledge of databases. - Expertise in data visualization techniques to create visually appealing and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI. - Strong skills in designing and developing data models that structure data for analysis and reporting. - Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures. - Ability to analyze user needs and data, translating them into technical specifications for BI solutions. - Knowledgeable in other data analysis languages, such as DAX, KQL, or their equivalents.,
