Job Description

Position Summary:

driving operational efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities:

Process Excellence & Standardization:

  • Develop and implement

    Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    and

    Best Practices

    across EPC functions
  • Institutionalize

    project execution frameworks

    including design reviews, procurement workflows, and site progress tracking
  • Establish

    project performance metrics (KPIs)

    for schedule, quality, cost, safety, and compliance
  • Conduct

    process mapping, gap analysis

    , and define process improvement plans

Quality & Compliance Systems:

  • Coordinate implementation of

    ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 systems

    across EPC operations
  • Define and audit

    quality checkpoints

    for design, procurement, and construction phases
  • Lead

    root cause analysis (RCA)

    and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) process for project non-conformances

Project Monitoring & Analytics:

  • Develop dashboards to monitor project

    progress, productivity, budget adherence

    , and

    material utilization

  • Analyze

    execution cycle times

    , identify bottlenecks, and propose efficient measures
  • Track

    change orders, delays, and rework

    to capture lessons learned

Cost Optimization & Benchmarking:

  • Lead

    cost rationalization initiatives

    through process engineering and value analysis
  • Create and maintain

    benchmarking database

    for key cost components (e.g., /MW EPC cost, /km TL, /bay GIS)
  • Conduct

    project post-mortems

    and performance reviews for continuous learning

Digital & Automation Initiatives:

  • Implement digital tools for

    document control, site progress monitoring, and quality reporting

  • Explore integration of

    BIM, drone-based surveying, digital checklists, and ERP systems

Organizational Capability Building:

  • Lead

    training programs and workshops

    on project management, QMS, lean construction, and regulatory updates.
  • Drive

    knowledge management initiatives

    (e.g., technical libraries, SOP repositories, case studies).
  • Promote

    cross-functional collaboration

    and process ownership across departments

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech

    in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (MBA / Six Sigma certification preferred).
  • 1020 years of experience in

    EPC / Renewable Energy / Power Transmission sector

    , with direct involvement in

    project execution or project support roles.

  • Strong knowledge of

    solar PV plant lifecycle

    ,

    EHV substation design & construction workflows

    , and

    regulatory frameworks (CEA, DISCOM, SLDC).

  • Experience in

    process design, QMS implementation, performance monitoring, and business analytics.

  • Proficiency in tools like

    MS Project / Primavera / Power BI / AutoCAD / ERP Systems.
