Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years (F&B / Retail / Franchise / Sales / Business Development)

Qualification: MBA (Mandatory)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and professional Business Development Executive to lead franchise development and drive brand expansion. The candidate must be strong in sales conversations, franchise pitching, data analysis, and relationship management.

This role involves identifying new franchise opportunities, handling investor inquiries, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring successful closures. A 7-day trial period will be part of the selection process.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new franchise opportunities for business expansion.

Conduct market research to evaluate potential locations and target segments.

Manage inbound and outbound franchise inquiries and explain the complete franchise model.

Present investment structure, ROI plans, and business growth projections to prospects.

Handle end-to-end franchise sales cycle: lead generation → follow-up → pitch → closure.

Build strong relationships with potential and existing franchise partners.

Coordinate with internal departments (operations, marketing, HR) for franchise onboarding.

Prepare and maintain accurate reports using Excel and data analysis tools.

Maintain updated lead trackers, follow-up sheets, and monthly sales performance.

Travel when required for meetings, site visits, events, or franchise discussions.

Required Skills & Competencies

Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development / Franchise Development / Sales.

MBA is mandatory (Marketing/Sales preferred).

Strong communication, negotiation, and franchise pitching skills.

Proven experience in closing deals and meeting sales targets.

Excellent Excel skills (MIS, data analysis, reports, lead tracking).

Ability to understand franchise models and financial projections.

Strong follow-up, relationship-building, and networking abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple leads at a time.

Willingness to travel as per business needs.

Number of franchise closures

Qualified leads generated

Lead-to-conversion ratio

Sales and revenue achievement

Accuracy of Excel reports and follow-ups

Franchise partner satisfaction

Execution of expansion plans

Additional Requirements

7-day trial period mandatory before final confirmation

Must have strong franchise development knowledge

Excellent command of Excel & data analysis
