(Travel Across India Required) Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist with expertise in Data Centre Commercial Sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering consulting, project solutions, and business development within BFSI, IT, Pharma, Infrastructure, or Data Centre sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and secure new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Market Expansion Identify and develop new business opportunities in Data Centres, BFSI, IT, Pharma, and Infrastructure sectors. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Research market trends, emerging opportunities, and potential strategic partnerships. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Actively participate in networking events, conferences, and industry trade shows. 2. Sales, Proposals & Contract Management Identify and respond to RFPs/Tenders, including pre-proposal queries, bid documentation, and technical submissions. Prepare and present customized proposals that align with client needs. Work closely with internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategies and contracts. Ensure all proposals adhere to contractual requirements and compliance regulations. 3. Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals. Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. Handle escalations professionally and ensure timely resolution of issues. 4. Revenue & Performance Management Define and track sales targets, key milestones, and business development KPIs. Provide regular reports, market insights, and business forecasts to senior management. Collaborate with project implementation teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to execution. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 7-15 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in BFSI, Data Centres, IT, Pharma, or Infrastructure. Proven track record in Data Centre Commercial Sales and Engineering Consulting. Strong understanding of RFPs, tenders, contracts, and proposal management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel across India for business development and client meetings. Proactive, result-driven, and highly customer-centric mindset.
