Role Summary

Business Development / Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Acquisition:

    Identify and prospect potential B2B clients across diverse industries (FinTech, BFSI, SaaS, and Consumer Tech).
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and nurture long-term partnerships with C-suite executives, HR heads, and decision-makers.
  • Solution Selling:

    Present Employee Forums unique "Community + Search" model, highlighting our ability to source leadership talent through our proprietary platform.
  • Revenue Generation:

    Lead the end-to-end sales cyclefrom initial cold outreach and pitching to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay updated on industry trends, competitor moves, and the evolving leadership landscape in the Mumbai/Navi Mumbai region.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure client requirements are met with high-quality candidate shortlists.
  • Sales Strategy:

    Develop and execute quarterly sales plans to meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An

    MBA

    is highly preferred.
  • Experience:

    4–10 years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Client Relationship Management, ideally within the

    Executive Search, HR Consulting, or HRMS/SaaS

    industry.
  • Network:

    An existing network of HR professionals and business leaders in Mumbai is a significant advantage.
  • Negotiation:

    Proven track record of closing high-value contracts and managing complex negotiations.
  • Communication:

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "speak the language" of C-level executives.
  • Mindset:

    A proactive, "hunter" mentality with a passion for networking and building communities.
