Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. The BDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying new leads, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving pipeline growth for the sales team. The BDR is supposed to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services.

Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and an understanding of related supply chain operations.

This role is critical in identifying high-quality opportunities. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal BDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closure for success

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify, research, and target potential clients using multiple channels including LinkedIn, outbound calls, email campaigns, and industry events.
  • Qualify leads by assessing business needs, pain points, and alignment with our solutions.
  • Generate high-quality leads through cold outreach while nurturing warm prospects into sales-ready opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, industry shifts, and potential opportunities.
  • Attend product and industry training to strengthen domain knowledge and sales effectiveness.

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain an accurate and updated pipeline in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demos for the Sales/Account Executive team.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups to maintain momentum with prospects.

Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain rapport with decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Use personalized outreach to maintain prospect engagement and trust.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales Executives to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Share market insights with product and marketing teams to refine positioning and messaging.

  • Strong relationship-building and persuasion skills.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Resilient in handling objections and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo.io).
  • Familiarity with selling SaaS, AI, Blockchain, or technology-based solutions is a plus.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor s degree in

    Business, Marketing, Sales

    , or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years

    of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role.
