About Us We provide HR and Occupational Health & Safety consulting services to small businesses and nonprofits so they can stay compliant and reduce risk in managing staff. About the Role We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. You’ll be on the front lines generating and qualifying leads, booking meetings, and fueling revenue growth through strategic outbound calling. This role is ideal for someone who loves talking to people, is comfortable with cold outreach, and wants to grow their sales career. Key Responsibilities Conduct outbound cold calls to generate and qualify leads Set up discovery calls and meetings for the sales team Maintain and update CRM records with accurate prospect and lead data Follow up with inbound leads and nurture them through the sales funnel Hit and exceed weekly/monthly activity and meeting-booked targets Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in sales, cold calling, or business development Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable and confident with outbound prospecting and cold outreach Proficient with CRM platforms (ideally Close, or similar tools) Organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Bonus points if you have: Experience in B2B sales or lead generation Experience calling into Canada / North American markets What We Offer Competitive base salary + commission/bonuses Remote, flexible work environment Clear opportunities for growth and promotion Access to training, mentorship, and career development How to Apply Please submit: Your resume A short voice recording (audio file or link) reading the script below Important: Candidates who do not submit a voice sample will not be considered for a first interview.
