Drive business development within the power segment, with a strategic focus on wind blade opportunities across APEC countries. Position Hempel as a trusted and preferred partner by crafting tailored customer roadmaps and driving technical qualification with Wind OEM and IPP’s. Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with influential decision-makers across Key accounts to ensure long-term business continuity and growth.
Key Tasks
Developing account development strategy for power segment aimed at increasing sales volumes in the region capitalizing on the brand value for achieving overall consistent & stable growth in revenue.
Developing new business opportunities and ensure Hempel is well specified in the segment and with the targeted accounts while working closely with Sales Team.
Primary Hempel point of contact for the selected key accounts, initiating and maintaining relations at all management levels and locations,
Accountable for performing in-depth market research and competition analysis in power segment.
Prepare reports and presentations as required to both internal and external stakeholders.
Support marketing strategies & promotional events & activities for increased brand awareness and demand.
Educating, creating awareness and communicating - current scenarios, opportunities and way forward for power segment to relevant internal stakeholders regularly
Sharing of Projects & Technical Learning within the team.
Conducting weekly, monthly & quarterly reviews to support the sales team achieving its sales targets.
What Are We Looking For?
Bachelors in engineering or business
Post Graduation in Engineering is preferred
Wind OEM experience is preferred
Exposure to wind blade manufacturing preferred with minimum 5 years
General behavioral competencies most relevant for the job
Excellent communication skills
Customer Service orientation
Structured and plans & aligns should be above expectation
Good analytical skills
Proactive and high on energy
Self-Starter & openness to travel across region if required.
