• Survey of prospective customers operating in the state such as Central and State Government Departments, Municipal Corporations, Central and State PSUs, Universities and Educational Institutions, Media organisations and Corporates for requirements of products and services in the field of interest to VTIPL.
• Preparation and update from time to time of contact details of prospective customers of interest to VTIPL.
• Liasioning with prospective customers for projects in the pipeline, getting details of such projects and offering technical specifications and details of suitable products and services meeting customer expectations, helping customers in preparation of Technical Specifications and Tender Documents.
• Keeping records of Tenders Published in the state in the areas of interest to VTIPL and timely communicating it to Head Office for responding to the tender.
• Attending pre-bid meetings and organising Proof of Concepts/demonstrations required by prospective customers.
• Pre and Post sale customer servicing.
• Submission of invoices and follow up for outstanding payments.
• Arranging receipt of goods on behalf of VTIPL, maintain inventory of received items and submitting timely reports to head office.
• Arranging after sales service support, arranging repair of defective items under warrantee/AMC and liasioning with customers for any services required.
B.E/B. Tech preferably MBA in marketing as additional qualification.
3-4 years of experience in the field of Sales/ Marketing of Electronic & Electrical Products and Services.
