Role & responsibilities The role is focused on business development, sales and marketing for Space, Aerospace and Defence sectors of Domestic and International Markets. This is a leadership role to head the complete business development group including joint ventures with foreign partners. The role gives strong support to senior management and the organisation, to build its presence in aerospace and defence sector. The role focuses on the communication with the key decision makers/stakeholders and senior management, for order booking along with defining, developing and implementing sales plan. It is a leadership role requiring pipeline building, technical discussion, commercial negotiation resulting in receiving Purchase Orders / Contracts from clients. The candidate will be working with the senior stakeholders and will work in alignment with the organisations goals. The candidate will actively be prospecting for new business opportunities and cross selling / up selling new prospects through effective communication and team management. The candidate should be proficient in generation of MIS reports and present to the management through a reporting mechanism on regular basis. The candidate requires skills to interface between the production departments, Engineering and the customer. The candidate should be capable of drawing out the business development plan and getting it implemented through the business development team reporting to him / her. The candidate should have hands on experience in Contract Management, MoU generation both with domestic and international customers. The candidate should focus on Target driven management of sales team. The candidate should focus on Target driven management of debtors collection. Knowledge, skills and experience: 12-15 years plus of experience in sales and business development. Experience in leading sales and business development team. Good knowledge of aerospace and defence products and markets. Very strong communication skills. Strong stakeholder management skills. Qualifications: BE / BTech, MBA Work Experience: 12-15 years plus of experience in sales and business development with at least 10 years in Aerospace and Defence Industry.
