The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience and a strong track record in generating leads and closing deals through freelancing portals such as Upwork, Fiverr, and others . Job Description: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and closing deals to drive business growth. You should have deep expertise in handling international clients and converting leads into long-term business partnerships. This is a remote position with flexible working hours and occasional office visits if needed. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation : Generate high-quality leads through freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, LinkedIn, etc. Bidding : Create and submit persuasive bids on various platforms to secure new business. Client Communication : Communicate effectively with clients through written and verbal channels to understand requirements and present tailored solutions. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business. Business Development Strategy : Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s market presence and revenue. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management. Team Management : Lead and mentor a bidding and pre-sales team to optimize lead generation and conversion. Networking : Establish and grow networks and partnerships that contribute to business expansion. Lead Qualification : Evaluate and qualify both inbound and outbound leads, progressing them through the deal-making process. Reporting : Provide weekly/monthly performance reports to management, including metrics on lead conversion and target achievement. Requirements: Experience : Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business development, with a strong focus on freelancing platforms. Expertise : Proven success on Upwork and Fiverr is a must. Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales funnels, targets, and revenue generation.
