Business Development Manager - Retail

As a Business Development Manager-Retail at D'Decor, your role involves keeping key customers and influencers informed of all new collections in store. You will work closely with the Head Office marketing team to identify new sales channels such as institutional and hospitality sectors. Your geographical reach is unrestricted, giving you the opportunity to develop a diverse customer base. Networking and expanding the database of Architects, Interior Decorators, and Builders will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating revenue through project sales and driving branding activities in the Institutional Sector. Key Responsibilities: - Keep key customers and influencers informed of new collections in store - Identify new sales channels like institutional and hospitality sectors with the help of the HO marketing team - Develop a diverse customer base without geographical restrictions - Network and expand the database of Architects, Interior Decorators, and Builders - Generate revenue through project sales - Drive branding activities in the Institutional Sector - Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers - Analyze market, industry, and competitor trends to facilitate marketing and sales planning - Drive sales through efficient store operations, customer service delivery, and adherence to company norms - Plan and manage store visual & merchandise displays, implement sales development & promotional activities - Monitor all point of sales activities in the store including sales transactions, tracking refunds, and gathering consumer data for feedback Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Project Sales (furniture, home furnishing, and other creative industries) - Graduate/Diploma/MBA qualification D'Decor, as the world's largest manufacturer of home fabrics, has a turnover that has grown significantly over the years.
