Role Summary

Business Development professional

If you're technically curious, commercially driven, and excited to help industries transition toward clean hydrogen solutions, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Identify and engage potential industrial clients with hydrogen consumption or decarbonization goals.
• Develop a deep understanding of client processes, energy usage, and fuel mix to position Ossus systems as a green, on-site alternative.
• Build and manage a qualified business pipeline from lead generation to techno-commercial closure.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to prepare proposals, perform ROI analyses, and build compelling business cases.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with EPCs, industrial gas distributors, and OEMs for technology integration.
• Conduct market and competitor analyses to strengthen Ossus positioning in the hydrogen and cleantech ecosystem.
• Represent Ossus at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.

What We're Looking For

• 14 years of experience in business development, industrial sales, or partnerships in hydrogen, industrial gases, or renewable energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of industrial hydrogen use cases, purity grades, and delivery models (cylinders, bulk, or on-site generation).
• Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, fuel data, and emission baselines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to travel extensively for client interactions.

Good to Have

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with process utilities (boilers, gas systems, fuel handling, hydrogen applications).
• Familiarity with industrial sustainability initiatives, ESG, or energy transition projects.
