Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Client and market development:

    Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target industries, and prospective clients.
  • Lead generation:

    Generate and qualify leads through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Relationship management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing clients, including key decision-makers in HR, IT, and executive leadership.
  • Sales and negotiation:

    Develop and deliver tailored business proposals and presentations to showcase the company's recruitment services. Negotiate contract terms and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Strategy and planning:

    Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence, increase profitability, and achieve business growth objectives.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and delivery, to align strategies and ensure client needs are met.
  • Reporting and analysis:

    Track sales performance, report on progress to senior management, and forecast revenue growth.
  • Industry knowledge:

    Stay informed about recruitment industry trends, competitive landscapes, and relevant legal and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum

    3 to 8 years

    of experience in

    Business Development / Client Acquisition

    within the

    Recruitment or Staffing Industry.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, within the recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Manage end-to-end business development cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets as per the companys growth plan.
  • Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to strategize business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach.

Education:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
