RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Execute business development strategies for the company's products and services in the domestic market.
  • Identify and pursue Business opportunities with potential and existing customers as per their EV strategy
  • Introduction and strong profiling of products to OEMs for business acquisition.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at the industry.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Facilitate and drive engineering activities as per Octillion ETO process from the start of business opportunity,

until end of production, including specification, prototype, testing, series production and warranty phase.

  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to customer management.
  • Keep a track on Accounts Receivables and follow up with customer to keep outstandings under control.

Sales and Marketing Initiatives:

  • Develop stakeholder mapping for every segment.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Stakeholder Management:

Internal Stakeholders

  • Senior leadership and BD colleagues
  • Application Engineering
  • Project management
  • Service Engineering
  • Plant Teams (Supply Chain, Production, Quality)

External Stakeholders:

  • Purchase Head, Purchase Manager, Sourcing/Supply Chain Team at OEMs.
  • Sourcing team at product suppliers to OEMs.
  • Engineering team at customers end.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (preferably Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical), additional degree in marketing/ business administration will be a plus.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience of B2B sales in the EV, Auto ancillary, Auto component, Robotics sector.
  • Proven track record of generating and converting new business leads in Automotive Segment.
  • Strong knowledge of the auto industry, its products, processes, standards, and regulations

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
