Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth in the lithium-ion battery recycling sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and promoting sustainable recycling solutions to OEMs, battery manufacturers, EV companies, e-waste aggregators, and government bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard new clients across sectors like automotive, electronics, EVs, renewable energy, and industrial battery users.
  • Build a pipeline of leads through market research, networking, cold calls, and digital platforms.
  • Negotiate and close contracts related to the collection, procurement, and recycling of lithium-ion batteries.
  • Represent the company at industry expos, sustainability forums, and B2B events.
  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics team to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting battery recycling.
  • Maintain and update CRM with prospect and client data.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to strategic revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in recycling, waste management, energy, or sustainability sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of lithium-ion battery types, recycling challenges, and EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) compliance is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
  • Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital sales tools.
