Job Summary


We are looking for a results-oriented Manager Business Development with a strong track record in sales leadership, team management, and achieving P&L objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize performance. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead from the front and contribute directly to transforming students' lives globally through education.


Key Responsibilities


1. Team Leadership & Sales Management:


  • Build, manage, and lead a team of 10+ associates.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations to ensure individual and team targets are met or exceeded.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, high performance, and accountability.

2. Sales Strategy & Funnel Optimization:


  • Design and refine the sales funnel to maximize conversion across all stages.
  • Implement and manage real-time dashboards to track KPIs, performance metrics, and revenue forecasts.

3. Coaching & Performance Development:


  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and 1:1 coaching sessions.
  • Organize training programs, feedback loops, and skill enhancement workshops to support ongoing team development.

4. Business Development & Client Acquisition:


  • Drive lead generation through direct outreach, strategic prospecting, and partnership development.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to achieve growth and revenue targets.

5. Market Intelligence & Strategic Input:


  • Stay updated on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
  • Share actionable insights with internal teams to influence product, marketing, and sales strategies.

Requirements


Experience:


  • Minimum 2+ years post-MBA in a sales leadership role (EdTech or B2C experience preferred), OR
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business development or sales team management.

Skills:


  • Strong business and sales acumen with a proven record of exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Effective stakeholder and team management skills, including experience in leading large teams.
