Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager (HHP) in the Power Generation BU at Kirloskar Powergen, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical advice and educate assigned customers on our products. You will play a crucial role in advising consultants, architects, engineers, and decision-makers to secure specifications early in the design process. Your role will involve key project specification of Kirloskar Powergen products and supporting the sales team in selling various product solutions. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience in Specification Sales or Business Development, particularly in dealing with customers like Consultants, Architects, and Influencers. A high level of knowledge and understanding of Genset complete solutions is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with a dynamic personality, strong winning mindset, and a high-performance attitude. You should be able to thrive both independently and in a team environment, demonstrating self-motivation, quick learning abilities, and high adaptability with a can-do attitude. Your key result areas (KRA) will include business development in new and emerging segments, engineering support to MEP consultants, value creation through a solutions selling approach, technical support to GOEM and KGDs, enquiry/lead tracking and monitoring at a micro level, customer relationship management, and market intelligence.
