Job Description

Business Development Manager -IT
  • This role is focused on driving business growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and promoting IT services and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of IT solutions, have excellent sales skills, and be adept at building lasting relationships with clients.
  • Lead Generation & Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector through market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential and existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth in the IT services and solutions space.
  • Proposal Creation & Presentation: Prepare customized proposals and presentations for prospective clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their IT needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead negotiations, handle objections, and close deals, ensuring profitable terms while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Requirements

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as delivery, technical, and marketing to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with client expectations.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and forecast future revenue projections to senior management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, with a focus on IT products and services.
    • Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in IT solutions, software, or technology services.
