About The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and confident Business Development professional who can identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and grow the agency’s business pipeline. This is a managerial-level role for someone who understands digital marketing and enjoys taking ownership of BD activities.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industries.Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.Understand client requirements and recommend suitable digital marketing services.Coordinate with internal teams to create proposals, pitch decks, and capability presentations.Conduct client meetings, pitch 1702 Digital’s services, and drive conversions.Handle follow-ups, negotiations, closures, and smooth onboarding.Maintain accurate records of leads, pitches, and sales progress.Represent the company professionally in all communications and meetings.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in BD, Sales, or Client Acquisition (preferably in digital marketing/advertising).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to pitch digital solutions confidently and clearly.
  • Experience working with targets, pipelines, and closures.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing services (Social Media, SEO Performance, Branding, etc.).
  • Organised, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in an agency ecosystem.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent follow-up discipline and ownership mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads at once.
