🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – FPO to expand our agri-machinery business with Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), Cooperatives, and SHGs in Maharashtra.
The role requires strong existing connections in the FPO ecosystem, deep understanding of how FPOs work, and the ability to position our innovative farm machinery (power weeders, sprayers, pumps, reapers, threshers, chaff cutters, brush cutters, etc.) as labour-saving, cost-efficient, and income-enhancing solutions.

📌 Key Responsibilities
• Identify and build strong relationships with active FPOs/FPCs/Cooperatives in Maharashtra.
• Leverage existing network to generate leads and secure bulk orders from FPOs.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for FPO members, showcasing labour savings and cost efficiency.
• Pitch Custom Hiring Center (CHC) models and bulk machinery packages tailored to crop-specific needs (cotton, soybean, paddy, sugarcane, horticulture).
• Work with FPO CEOs and Boards to prepare proposals for subsidy schemes, CSR projects, and bank financing.
• Coordinate with NGOs and CSR partners involved in rural development and FPO support.
• Track competitor activity, government programs, and market demand in Maharashtra.
• Ensure strong after-sales service and spares support to maintain long-term FPO trust.
• Achieve assigned sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annual) and report pipeline progress.

✅ Desired Candidate Profile
• Experience: 4–8 years in agri-business sales, with at least 3 years of direct exposure to FPOs/FPCs/NGOs/CSR projects.
• Connections: Strong network with FPO CEOs, NGO project managers, and agriculture officials in Maharashtra.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of FPO governance, subsidy processes, and CHC models.
• Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Rural Management, or related field.
• Skills: Excellent relationship building, communication in Marathi/Hindi/English, and ability to travel extensively.
