Business Development Manager (Field Sales)

As a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive, your role involves finding, activating, and retaining customers in specified territories in India. You will be responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly individual Gross Profit and shipment targets. Your duties will include booking and pricing for air and ocean shipments, with a focus on Imports, as well as closing inquiries and managing customer relationships. Additionally, you will be involved in carrier negotiation and development, sending out quotations, and coordinating marketing and events. To excel in this role, you must have 1 to 5 years of past freight forwarding experience and be sales and result-oriented. You should have the necessary setup to work from home and travel within the local market area for sales visits. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) and modern technology tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and in-house freight forwarding software is required.
