Business Development Manager (Field Sales)

You will be responsible for finding, activating, and retaining customers from assigned territories in India. Your main objectives will include achieving monthly and quarterly individual Gross Profit and shipment targets, handling booking and pricing for air and ocean shipments with a focus on Imports, closing inquiries, managing customer relationships and experiences, negotiating with carriers, developing carrier relationships, sending out quotations, and providing market intelligence to secure the best rates. Additionally, you will be coordinating marketing and events. Qualifications required for this role include having 1 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, a sales and result-oriented mindset, the ability to work from home and travel within the local market area for sales visits, and an existing book of business. Your profile should match the following criteria: you must be a Graduate or Post Graduate, proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking, and skilled in using modern technology such as word, excel, outlook, and in-house freight forwarding software. You will be expected to travel within the local market area for sales visits. This is a full-time, permanent position.
