Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at our leading pharmaceutical company, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth in both regulatory and non-regulatory markets, focusing on African and South Asian regions. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. - Developing and implementing business strategies to expand our presence in target regions through partnerships, licensing, and distribution agreements. - Leading efforts in obtaining regulatory approvals for new products and ensuring compliance with local regulations. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, distributors, and healthcare professionals. - Negotiating contracts, strategic alliances, and joint ventures while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. - Collaborating with internal teams to execute business development initiatives successfully. - Traveling extensively to engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders across African and South Asian countries. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field. MBA is a plus. - Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, with expertise in African and South Asian markets. Skills: - Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. - In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry trends and regulations. - Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in target regions is a plus.
