Role & responsibilities

  • Identifying and Pursuing New Business Opportunities:

    BDMs research potential markets, identify leads, and develop strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:

    They cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as a point of contact and building trust.
  • Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies:

    BDMs create and execute sales plans, set goals, and monitor progress to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Conducting Market Research and Analysis:

    They analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborating with Other Teams:

    BDMs work with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Negotiating Contracts and Agreements:

    They negotiate terms and agreements with clients and partners to secure deals and partnerships.
  • Training and Mentoring:

    Some BDMs are involved in training and mentoring sales teams to improve their skills and performance.
