Business Development Manager (BDM) – Sales Process

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, acquire new customers, and build long-term business relationships. The ideal candidate has strong sales skills, excellent communication, and a proven ability to close deals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and buying timelines.
• Deliver tailored presentations, pitches, and product/service demos.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure signed contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
