Job Description: You will join DATOMS, a leading connected operations IoT platform trusted by 300+ industrial customers, to expand the Industrial Vertical as a Business Development Manager. Your role will involve selling comprehensive IoT solutions such as environmental compliance, asset monitoring, and industry-specific solutions to industrial clients. With 7-10 years of enterprise sales experience in industrial environments, a deep technical understanding of industrial instruments, and a proven track record of driving business growth, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building client relationships, conducting market research, providing technical consultation, and maintaining accurate sales records. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales plans to exceed revenue targets for industrial IoT solutions, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. - Build strong relationships with enterprise customers, understanding their needs and challenges, and demonstrating how DATOMS' IoT platform drives insights and compliance. - Conduct market research to identify opportunities and collaborate with teams to inform go-to-market strategies. - Act as a trusted technical advisor, articulating complex industrial IoT concepts, and coordinating with internal technical teams for timely solutions. - Maintain accurate sales activity and forecast records in CRM, managing stakeholder communications. Qualifications & Skills: - 7-10 years of progressive sales experience in industrial technical solutions, with at least 3 years selling IoT technologies. - Deep understanding of IoT technologies and industrial applications, along with strong technical knowledge of industrial instruments. - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential. - Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in Office Suite, CRM, and Sales tools is required. - Extensive travel is necessary for client meetings and industry events.
