BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (AQUACULTURE)

Work Experience: Minimum 8-9 Years of experience in Aquaculture product/ input Sales

We are looking for an experienced sales manager to contribute to our company’s sales.objectives. The responsibilities include team building, supervising the sales team andbuilding long-term client relationships. As a Business Development Manager, the candidateshould use his creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovativeideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential forthis position. Ultimately, the candidate should aspire to develop and maintain successfulrelationships with large, distributed customers. As a Business Development Manager, hismajor Roles & Responsibilities include:Job Responsibilities: Achieve the sales using various customer centric sale methods such as Door-to-Doorvisit, cold calling, Detailing presentations etc. Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate theireffectiveness in improving and driving the sales to an appreciable level. Evaluate customer skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships withfarmers and other key clientele. Meet personal and team sales targets assigned from time to time. Research accounts and generate or follow through sale leads. Attending meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast with the latestdevelopments in the field specified. Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory. Identify new markets, distributors, and growth opportunities in the territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, andstakeholders. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to guide business planning. Work closely with the other colleagues in marketing team to plan and executepromotional campaigns.Skills Required: Self motivated, self driven and ability to work under pressure. Zest in improving the sales activity with proven sales experience and track record ofachievements. Five plus years of experience in veterinary / poultry sales with proven skills inCustomer Relationship Management. Familiarity with different sales techniques and competency in computer use. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Requirements: Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Fishery Science/ Life sciences with

working knowledge in sales in the Aqua culture domain is preferable.
