Business Development Manager - Aluminium

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for ABF bricks, including sidewall, floor, and roof brick systems used in Aluminium industry.
• Support product trials, application engineering, and post-mortem analysis at customer sites.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Coordinate with NPD and manufacturing to optimize product formulations for strength, thermal conductivity, resistance to alkali attack, and thermal shock etc.
• Monitor field performance, track customer feedback, and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Maintain updated Product Data Sheets (PDS), technical documentation, and competitor product comparisons.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking for ABF-related concepts and innovations.
• Support bidding, proposal preparation, and product selection strategy for key projects and tenders.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Support pricing, proposal preparation, and commercial discussions from a technical perspective
  

Requirements

Essential:

• B.Tech - Chemical/Metallurgy/ Ceramic with 7 to 10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes of Aluminium industry, refractory products and application of products.
• Field experience in product trials or technical customer support in ABF applications
