Position Overview

Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Scout and secure new business opportunities on Upwork and similar platforms
• Craft tailored proposals for mobile and web development projects (iOS, Android, React, Flutter, etc.)
• Maintain and enhance Upwork profile for maximum lead generation and conversion
• Coordinate with technical teams to accurately scope and present solutions to clients
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify emerging client needs globally
• Build and manage long-term relationships with international clients
• Track KPIs such as proposal success rate, client acquisition, and revenue generation
• Participate in strategy meetings to align BD efforts with service roadmaps

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Upwork in the context of digital development services
• Proven success in client outreach, communication, and follow-ups with international prospects
• Strong understanding of mobile/web technologies and ability to translate client needs into tech language
• Competency in proposal writing tailored for global clients
• Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Trello, HubSpot, Zoho CRM)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or equivalent experience (preferred)
