Business Development Executive - Technical

Role & responsibilities

• Serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
• Create new sales and marketing strategies that target B2B customers and position our products as the best solutions for prospective clients
• Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management
• Set and achieve sales goals and quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Provide product, equipment, technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.
• Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consult with engineers and other professional personnel.
• Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials.
• Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
• Submit orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes.
• Develop customers staff by providing technical information and training.
• Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

Should have experience in Technical Marketing of Engineering Products with passion in Marketing - also have worked directly with Manufacturing Industry.
