Business Development Executive - software sales

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) specializing in Software sales in the Travel Technology industry, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and cultivating new business opportunities within the Travel Tech sector. Your main tasks will involve generating leads through various methods such as market research, cold calling, networking, and digital outreach. Building strong relationships with key decision-makers at travel agencies, OTAs, tour operators, and corporate travel companies will be crucial in your role. You will be expected to present and showcase our product offerings to potential clients, customizing solutions to address their specific needs. Meeting and exceeding sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the management will be a key measure of success in this role. Negotiating contracts and successfully closing deals in accordance with company policies will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field. A solid grasp of travel technology products such as booking engines, APIs, B2B/B2C portals, etc., is essential. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required. Being goal-oriented with a genuine enthusiasm for sales and client relationship management is highly valued. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team is essential. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Salesforce or HubSpot would be advantageous.
