Position: Business Development Executive (Proposal Writing)

Intro

As part of this role, you will be exposed to:

Core Must-Haves (Day One)

  • Excellent

    written and spoken English

    (client-ready).
  • Mandatory:

    Strong

    persuasive writing skills

    with exceptional attention to

    grammar, punctuation, and presentation

    , able to draft clear, compelling, and professional proposals.
  • Prior experience in

    proposal writing and project identification

    (any platform). Upwork experience is a plus but

    not required; a

    competent professional will adapt quickly.
  • Confident in

    LinkedIn outreach & lead generation

    (Sales Navigator a plus).
  • Strong in

    email handling (Outlook)

    and

    calendar management

    .
  • Comfortable with

    basic Excel

    and

    project management tools

    (ClickUp/Slack).
  • Confident, presentable, and professional to represent a

    growing consulting brand

    .

Responsibilities:

Identify and apply for targeted, high-value projects on Upwork (no random spamming).

Good-to-Haves (Grow Into within 3-6 Months)

  • Lead generation for international training programs.
  • Running email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Managing and optimizing Google Ads (AdWords) campaigns.
  • Supporting SEO efforts (keyword research, blogs, website optimization).
  • Contributing to business development strategy (funnels, outreach playbooks).
  • Training & mentoring future BD hires as the team expands.
  • Assist with overall business development efforts across all channels.

Familiarity with startups, financial terms, and consulting is a huge plus.

  • Flexible with timings (late mornings/early noon start, occasional evening calls).
  • Self-driven, proactive, and ambitious to grow with the company.

  • Training programs will be arranged for candidates with the right skills, attitude, and approach!

Compensation

Salary:

Starting Salary:

  • Salary increase of up to 15K

    after 3 months.
  • 3% commission

    on each closed sale, increasing to

    5% after 3 months

    . The typical incentive could range between Rs. 6K and 9K, per project.
  • Side perks and benefits are available after 3 months.
