ProAlpha Capital is a SEBI-registered investment manager based in Mumbai and focused on the Indian capital markets. The firm implements market-neutral, quantitative, and systematic trading strategies that its team had been developing since last decade managing for outside investors since 2011. The firm currently manages and advises high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and Corporates across various strategies with client s investment amount upward of 1 cr or more. The firm is seeking applications for Business Development Executive for a critical role in Sales & Marketing support role which directly to reporting into Principal Officer of the firm.

Business Development Executive Job Description
  • Should have a presentable personality with good communication skills and basic understanding of Futures & Options markets or should be inclined to quickly develop an understanding of this market
  • Independently acquire and set up new HNI client meetings/ calls for the fund manager as per targets as defined by KRA. Drive the marketing plan to increase AUM rapidly across strategies
  • Follow up with existing prospects in the database of ProAlpha and connect with distributors for initiating them to market our strategies
  • Brainstorm new ideas on reaching out to new clients/ distributors
  • Increase distribution reach in ultra-HNI, family office, and corporate treasury segments by adding new direct clients across existing and new cities
  • Work closely with the Fund Manager in creating the right messaging across various products for different types of clients to improve the conversion of existing prospects
  • Use the CRM efficiently to manage the marketing process, and pipeline and help the ops team in the client onboarding process.
  • Should be able to use corporate LinkedIn profile to churn research ideas / right messaging to stay relevant among HNI community in derivatives space
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven ability to close new business (convert prospective investors into clients for one or more of our investment products)

  • Strong Derivatives Market knowledge is a must
  • An outspoken and easy-to-mingle individual
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Highly motivated Self-starter who works hard and multi-tasks effectively
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to travel extensively within India
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:
    • Bachelor s Degree with good exposure in the Equity/ Derivatives market
    • Prior work experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Mutual Fund or Stock Broking industries but less 2 years
    • Experience in Fund-Raising for Financial Services products roles
    • Good cold calling and communications skills and capability to focus on new client lead generation
    • Good time management skills
    • Experience with a CRM for managing marketing processes and pipeline
    • 1 Year of experience is a must, exception for a highly motivated candidate
    Location - Regus, Dev Corpora, Thane West

    Salary - As per industry standard and based on experience

    Working - 5 days a week, full time work Minimum 2 years of commitment to work
