About the Role

Business Development Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting

    • Identify and research potential corporate customers through networking, databases, and market intelligence.
    • Qualify leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

    • Conduct outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and meetings to generate interest.
    • Deliver presentations, demos, and proposals to corporate decision-makers.
    • Negotiate and close B2B deals, ensuring win-win outcomes.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Sales Execution & Targets

    • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
    • Work closely with the senior sales/BD team to convert enterprise opportunities.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
    • Provide feedback to the management team for product/service improvements.
  • Collaboration

    • Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 1–3 years of

    B2B sales / business development experience

    (internship or full-time).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong research skills and a proactive approach to lead generation.
  • Target-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in

    enterprise sales / corporate accounts

  • Exposure to CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, ERPNext CRM).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific sales cycles (manufacturing, IT, logistics, finance, etc.).
