Job Description

Role & responsibilities The Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a vital role in expanding the organizations client base, managing pre-sales activities, building client relationships, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new clients. The BDE works under the guidance of the Director of Recruitment to identify, engage, and convert prospective clients into long-term business partners. Client Acquisition & Lead Generation Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and industry events. Build a pipeline of qualified leads and schedule introductory meetings with potential clients in coordination with the Director of Recruitment. Collaborate with internal teams to customize pitches that align with client needs and staffing models. Presales & Proposal Management Prepare and present company credentials, capability decks, and customized recruitment proposals for prospective clients. Coordinate with the Delivery team and Recruitment Heads to gather information on capacity, timelines, and resource allocation for pre-sales documentation. Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs and pricing proposals under the supervision of the Director. Client Relationship Management Act as a key point of contact for new and potential clients during the pre-sales and onboarding phases. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction. Schedule and participate in periodic meetings with clients to gather feedback, understand changing needs, and identify up-selling or cross-selling opportunities. Client Onboarding Manage and coordinate the complete onboarding process for new clients, including documentation, agreement finalization, and internal alignment with the Delivery team. Ensure smooth handover of requirements from the client to internal delivery teams post-onboarding. Assist in setting expectations on delivery timelines, escalation protocols, and communication processes with new clients. Coordination & Collaboration Work closely with the Director of Recruitment to align on business growth strategy and target segments. Participate in internal review meetings to provide updates on lead status, pipeline strength, and acquisition metrics. Market Intelligence & Reporting Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and staffing demands across key markets. Track all interactions and opportunities in CRM or lead management systems and provide regular reports to the Director of Recruitment. Share insights and feedback from the market with leadership to support decision-making and business planning. Target Achievement Work towards monthly and quarterly targets for client acquisition, meeting schedules, and conversion ratios as assigned by the Director. Ensure alignment with organizational revenue goals through strategic business development efforts.
