Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition Identify potential sponsors and delegates for events.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Proposal & Pitch Development: Prepare customized proposals and presentations for clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with organizational goals.
Market Research & Strategy: Analyse market trends and competitor activities to refine business strategies.
Provide insights to enhance event offerings and identify new business avenues.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the events, marketing, and communications teams to align business development efforts. Support event planning and execution as needed

Preferred candidate profile

2-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the events or services marketing .
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
Preferred Attributes: Experience in B2B sales.
