Role Overview

Business Development Executive/ Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

    • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and market mapping.
    • Schedule and attend meetings to pitch recruitment services.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
    • Understand client hiring needs, industry trends, and workforce challenges.
  • Business Growth:

    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
    • Negotiate terms, service agreements, and pricing with clients.
  • Collaboration with Recruitment Team:

    • Coordinate with internal recruiters to ensure client requirements are met effectively.
    • Provide market insights and client feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Market Intelligence:

    • Keep up to date with industry developments, competitors, and recruitment trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in

    business development / sales

    in the recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, hiring cycles, and client needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online networking platforms (LinkedIn).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, HR, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the recruitment or HR consulting sector.
