Job Description

Position: Business Development Executive – Student Business

Location: Nehru Place, New Delhi

Job Summary

As a Business Development Executive (BDE), the primary responsibility is to guide students traveling overseas for higher studies in remitting tuition fees and living expenses through authorized forex and remittance services. The role also involves expanding and managing partnerships with overseas education consultants. The BDE will oversee pre-sales, sales, and post-sales activities across the entire remittance lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist students throughout the complete remittance process, ensuring collection and verification of all mandatory documentation.

2. Conduct webinars with partner education consultants to guide students and parents on remittance procedures, forex rates, and compliance requirements.

3. Follow up with students for semester fee payments and living expenses, typically paid in two instalments per year.

4. Maximize margins per transaction to contribute to overall revenue growth.

5. Cross-sell related services such as education loans, visa facilitation, and insurance.

6. Expand and onboard overseas education consultants as channel partners to route student remittances through the organization.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. Achievement of annual targets, including:

Revenue (margin) targets

Transaction value targets

Student onboarding targets

2. Effective handholding of students and parents throughout the remittance process.

3. Growth of the education consultant partner base:

Targeted onboarding of UG consultants

Targeted onboarding of PG consultants

4. Organization of a defined number of webinars with each onboarded consultant.

Qualities & Attributes

1. Minimum 2+ years of experience with overseas education consultants

(Candidates with Byju’s background not preferred)

2. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with students, parents, and education consultants.

4. Proficiency in market research, lead generation, and sales funnel management.

Additional Details

Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹42,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
