Business Development & Automation Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

  • Generate and close business for PLCs, HMIs, sensors, industrial networking, drives, motors, and automation solutions.
  • Identify and onboard OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, and industrial customers.
  • Develop new business opportunities and expand market reach PAN India.
  • Provide product demos, technical presentations, and application support.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and achieve monthly/annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial customers.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and follow-ups.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 3 to 15 years of experience in Automation Sales / Industrial Product Sales.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Drives, Sensors, Industrial Communication (Modbus/Profibus/Profinet).
  • Experience with Phoenix Contact / Siemens / Baumer / ABB / Rockwell / Schneider is preferred.
  • Technical qualification: Diploma / B.Tech Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and field sales skills
