Role Overview

Business Development Associate (BDA)

Key Responsibilities

• Engage, pitch, and convert prospective learners through outbound/inbound calls, emails, and online meetings.
• Understand career aspirations and guide students to choose the right Scaler learning program.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead engagement to closing the enrollment.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales & revenue targets.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of student satisfaction.
• Maintain CRM records, lead status updates, and follow structured follow-ups.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams like counseling, product, and marketing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Mandatory experience in selling education programs / degree courses / higher education or EdTech programs.

• Strong communication and persuasive selling skills.
• Prior experience in inside sales / tele-sales / student counseling roles.
• Ability to meet and exceed target-oriented environments.
• Strong understanding of student needs and ability to recommend suitable learning paths.
• Good understanding of technology/IT sector is an added bonus.

- UG: B.Tech (Tech), B.Com/BBA (Non-Tech)

- PG: M.Tech (Tech), MBA (Marketing & Sales)

- Preferred Background: EdTech or a mix of EdTech & Non-EdTech sectors
