About the Role
Were looking for passionate and motivated Business Development Associates (BDAs) to join our fast-growing EdTech Sales team at Physics Wallah (PW). In this role, youll help students and parents choose the right learning solutions by conducting personalized counseling sessions and home demos making quality education accessible and impactful across India. Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting:Identify and connect with potential students or parents through cold calls and field visits.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.Consultative Selling:Engage with leads to understand their learning goals, challenges, and aspirations.Recommend appropriate courses or programs that align with their educational needs.Sales Presentations & Demos:Conduct virtual or in-person counseling sessions to demonstrate product value.Showcase the company’s learning offerings and help customers make informed decisions.Pipeline Management:Manage and track leads through the sales funnel using CRM tools like Salesforce or Zoho CRM.Ensure timely follow-ups and accurate conversion tracking.Collaboration:Coordinate with the marketing, academic, and operations teams for smooth onboarding and student satisfaction.Target Achievement:Meet and exceed weekly and monthly enrollment and revenue targets.Feedback & Improvement:Gather insights and feedback from customers to improve sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and product offerings. Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (MBA preferred).1–3 years of experience in sales, counseling, or business development (EdTech background preferred).Strong consultative selling skills with proven ability to close sales and achieve/exceed targets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with parents and students effectively.Strong persuasion, negotiation, and presentation abilities.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking tools (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).Ability to build instant rapport and trust with diverse customers, especially parents.Confident in handling objections and challenging questions professionally.Proven ability to work independently, manage your sales pipeline, territory, and schedule efficiently.Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation – mandatory for daily travel and home demos.Comfortable using laptops, tablets, and other digital tools for product presentations and demos.
