Job Description

You will be joining Newen Systems as a Sales Engineer, where your main responsibility will be to convey Newen Systems" value proposition and brand promise to both existing and potential customers. Your tasks will include understanding market dynamics, identifying target customer segments in the BESS market, tracking tenders and projects for distribution companies and the C&I segment, as well as meeting sales targets and coordinating organizational resources to achieve them. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and writing skills, a strong understanding of the energy storage market, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. If you are a self-starter with a passion for marketing and sales, this opportunity at Newen Systems is for you. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a deep understanding of key market segments including transmission and distribution utilities, thermal and renewable generation, industry, and infrastructure verticals - Support the identification of key customers per segment and drive key market development programs - Conceptualize configurable solutions tailored to customer needs and collaborate with the business development team to design specific solutions - Collaborate with the team to set annual budgets, sales targets, and organizational requirements - Establish a network of trust and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - Monitor competitor actions and take proactive measures to stay ahead of the competition - Mentor and lead the team through the acquisition cycle - Drive growth and efficiency measures within the sales team - Support the Execution and Service team in resolving customer issues and meeting expectations - Define clear requirements and usability documents for technical and non-technical audiences Skills Required: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and develop metrics - Prioritization and task execution in high-pressure environments - Target-oriented and self-driven with the ability to establish cooperative working relationships Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field - MBA or equivalent from a Tier 1 institute (Preferred) Experience: - 3-6 years of experience in BESS, UPS, Diesel generators, Inverter - Sales experience in managing target customer segments - Tendering experience is a plus - Experience in dealing with DISCOMs/PSUs is a plus,
