Business Development Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities with CPA firms and accounting practices in the US and Canada.
• Develop and execute effective sales outreach strategies (LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, etc.).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Understand client needs and present tailored solutions for outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of client projects.
• Maintain and update CRM records for leads, prospects, and client interactions.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance goals.
• Participate in online networking events, webinars, and accounting communities to promote the company’s services.
• Provide feedback to management on market trends, client needs, and competitor activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in accounting outsourcing, financial services, or related industries.
• Familiarity with US & Canadian accounting and tax practices is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
• Comfortable working with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation platforms.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a remote team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with CPA firms, accounting practices, or BPO/KPO setups.
• Understanding of outsourced accounting processes, bookkeeping systems (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.), and tax workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
