About Ellipse Education: Ellipse Education is a fast-growing edtech company. We offer job-ready courses in cloud and data engineering, specially designed for students and working professionals. Our focus is on helping learners build real skills. Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Associate who is good at both CRM and sales. You will play a key role in handling student inquiries, managing leads using Zoho CRM, and converting them into enrolled students. This is a remote job, so you can work from anywhere in India. What You’ll Do: CRM (Customer Relationship Management):Use Zoho CRM to manage and track all leads and student information. Keep all CRM records updated – including calls, follow-ups, emails, and lead status. Create workflows and automation to make lead handling smoother. Run email campaigns and marketing workflows using Zoho tools. Handle data imports/exports, web forms, and lead capturing. Analyze CRM data to see what’s working and where we can improve. Make sure no lead is missed and all follow-ups happen on time. Sales & Student Interaction:Talk to potential learners to understand their career goals and suggest the right course. Make inbound and outbound calls to explain course features and benefits. Help with demos or presentations when needed to help students understand the course better. Work towards sales targets and track KPIs like number of conversions and response times. Coordinate with internal teams like academics and placements to give the right information to students. What We’re Looking For: Experience with Zoho CRM is a must. Should know how to use Zoho CRM or any similar tool like Pipedrive, hubspot Good communication skills (English and Hindi preferred). Strong follow-up and people skills – you enjoy talking to people and solving their doubts. Basic knowledge of sales processes and CRM best practices. Good to Have (Preferred Skills):Experience in edtech, tech courses, or B2C sales. Understanding of cloud or data engineering is a bonus. Ability to train or guide teammates on using CRM systems.
