Job Description

As a part of the Smart Infrastructure Division at Siemens Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the efficient and reliable transmission and distribution of electrical power. Your responsibilities will include: - Business Development activities involving frequent travel PAN India for RMU Core Part Business and Channel Partner Development. - Day-to-day actions of the proposal engineer, such as reading RFQ documents thoroughly, preparing techno-commercial proposals, including clarification/deviation, Bill of Material, proposal drawings, and costing for MV Switchgear product (RMU). - Efficiently processing customer Request For Quotations to meet the customer requested date and escalating to Proposal Manager for review if unable to meet the deadline. - Interpreting customer specifications to ensure the correct requirements are met and clarifying any ambiguities with the opportunity owner/sales before submitting the proposal. - Coordinating with factory/vendors/procurement for the right specifications to prepare an optimum offer. - Ensuring order booking for RMU and making sure customer and opportunity Owner/Sales are aware of any non-compliance in the offer. - Preparing hand over documents for the order execution team and attending handover meetings as a representative from the proposal team. - Participating in local meetings and supporting Proposal Manager in attending other unit team meetings if required. - Being cautious about Non-Conformance Costs and ensuring the profitability of the order. - Encouraging self-development through e-learning or external training. Qualifications required for this role: - Degree in Electrical Engineering. - More than 5 to 10 years of working experience is preferable. - Knowledge in the Switchgear field with basic commercial knowledge. - Good planning, inter-personal, and communication skills. - Previous experience in Marketing & Tendering is preferred.,
